From the very beginning of Crossogue Preserves, Veronica has always entered her products in competitions annually; from local and regional agricultural shows initially to the national and international food awards today.

We are always striving to source the finest natural ingredients; this combined with perfecting a traditional small batch method of production gives our products the wonderful flavours and textures enjoyed by our clients today.

In the past 20 years, we have been rewarded with over 60 Great Taste Awards to date; these are the Oscars of the food world, with blind-tasting by international experts of fine food deciding the outcome. We have also received numerous awards from Blas na hEireann and the World’s Original Marmalade Awards.

Awards give us the reassurance that our products are achieving the levels that we expect from all our range on an ongoing basis. An example would be our Damson and Port Jelly that won Triple Gold at the 2016 Great Taste Awards.

One of Veronica’s great passions over the years has been the challenge of developing new and innovative products to add to the range and give our customers new and refreshing tastes and flavours to try. Competitions give us valuable feedback and a showcase for these exciting and fun products. A recent example is our Lime and Tequila marmalade that won gold at the World’s Original Marmalade Awards.

We constantly challenge ourselves; we all enjoy it and believe that this ethos ensures that standards and quality permeates throughout all our range of products today.
